RARE Tourmalinated Quartz with Epidote Specimen

This stunning specimen is Tourmalinated Quartz with Epidote. Tourmalinated Quartz is clear rock crystal (crystal quartz) which has grown together with black tourmaline, and shows strands of the tourmaline running through the quartz, hence "tourmalinated." Tourmalinated quartz is believed to protect the wearer from negative thoughts and emotions. It is said to be filled with energy that flashes through it and connects one with other fields of energy. Tourmalinated quartz is thought to provide a balancing of yin/yang energies and release negative patterns. 

You may not be familiar with epidote. Epidote wasn't identified as a separate mineral until the beginning of the nineteenth century by the French crystallographer Rene-Just Haüy. Before that, it was always considered to be the same mineral as actinolite.

Epidote has the ability to increase your energy levels and is useful for strengthening the physical body.  This stone facilitates a more complete assimilation of nutrients.  It stimulates the immune system and aids in the healing process. Epidote increases your personal power and increases memory, making it helpful when looking for lost objects. This stone assures you that all your basic needs are met with an abundance left over to share with others. It helps you relax into the knowledge that nothing is lacking. Use this stone to increase good health, abundant wealth and the ability to love fully and completely. It is helpful for those stuck in modes of depression, hopelessness, or other negative thinking patterns.  Epidote can inject a sense of hopeful optimism.

I love crystals in their raw form too, so you will find a lot of druzy specimens or material with druzy pockets.
